His parents, nomads and travelers like him, gave him the freedom to the amateur painter \"I remember, my parents have never lived in one house for more than two years, so as to be changing schools, it was good to me\". Complements \"My mother never believed in formal education, she raised me until I was almost 7 years, in fact, I have never get graduated from anything\", complements the artist. Basque George began of the idea that, all images and concepts are in our minds, and that to create an image in the real world, you must be in total darkness, to avoid to distorting the mental image when to see the observed. His project \"Paintings to never see\" try it that. Paintings made in the dark and never be seen even for him. He studied film, gastronomy, photography and Visual Arts at distinguished Institutions in Colombia. He uses different means and tools, different materials and concepts to create a visual poetry that gradually matures and eventually becomes his own label.
\"I\'m interested in one thing: invent. Put people to dream, and I can hardly believe even today, that being awake, is not in the background still dreaming.\" Jorge Basco undoubtedly is a great thinker, a great artist, varied, restless, bold, versatile.
